FAQ's Vertuo

If you have purchased any Nespresso Vertuo coffee machine from a Costco store between 2nd November 2020 and 31st January 2021, you will receive $60 off your machine purchase at the Costco register or Costco online checkout. The $60 discount is to be directly claimed at Costco store or Costco online at the time of payment.

Participating Products include:

  • Vertuo
  • Vertuo Next
  • Vertuo Next & Aeroccino3
  • VertuoPlus
  • VertuoPlus & Aeroccino3

A Participating Product does not include:

  1. Nespresso Business Solution machines; or
  2. Commercial sales, second-hand, refurbished, trade seconds of similar products as determined by Nespresso in its sole discretion; or
  3. Nespresso Original machines

To submit a claim, visit and click on ‘Redeem Your Claim’ and complete your details by following the prompts. All claims need to be submitted by 11:59pm AEDT 28th February 2021.

Prior to starting your claim, please ensure that you have the below information ready as you will be required to provide it as part of your claim submission:

  1. Your 19-digit serial number from the machine you purchased (19-digit alphanumeric code found on your machine drip tray or underneath your machine)
  2. A scanned copy or photo of your Proof of Purchase (clearly showing machine model, date of purchase, price paid and the retailer)
  3. Your Nespresso membership number (if you are an existing Nespresso member)

Note: Lay-bys not paid in full by 31st January 2020 are excluded from these offers. This offer is available to customers making payments with Afterpay or Zip Pay provided a valid receipt has been uploaded for your claim.

All Costco stores (including physical shops and online stores in Australia) displaying promotional materials for the Promotion are the Participating Retailers for this promotion.

Participating Retailer is not, Nespresso via phone 1800 623 033 or Nespresso Boutiques.

You will be able to find a list of Costco stores on the Purchase Details page during your claim submission. To find a Participating Retailer, please click on the drop-down menu. Please click on the relevant Costco store you purchased your machine from in order to be eligible for the $20 Coffee Credit.

Yes, you are required to be or become a Nespresso member to redeem your $20 Coffee Credit. If you are not a Nespresso member, you can simply submit your claim and automatically become a Nespresso member. Your account details will be emailed to you shortly after your claim submission.

Yes, once you have purchased a Participating Product from a Participating Retailer during the Promotional Period, simply visit your nearest Nespresso Boutique and present a physical copy of the original proof of purchase along with the machine serial number (19-digit alphanumeric code found on the drip tray or underneath your machine) to redeem the offer. Digital invoices will not be accepted.

Up to (3) claims per customer will be accepted. The offer applies to the purchase of any Nespresso Vertuo machines between 2nd November 2020 and 31st January 2021 (inclusive) at any Participating Retailer (all Costco physical stores and online) in Australia. Lay-bys not paid in full by 31st January 2021 are excluded from these offers.

There are a few ways for you to locate your existing Nespresso membership number. These include:

  1. If you already order your capsules online or using the mobile app, you can view your Membership number by accessing your account details online: and click on ‘PLEASE SIGN INTO YOUR ACCOUNT’
  2. Call Nespresso on 1800 623 033
  3. Visit your nearest Nespresso Boutique and ask a Nespresso Coffee Specialist
  4. Check a recent email from Nespresso

It is important that you submit your claim using your existing membership number so we can ensure your machine is correctly registered on this account, and you are eligible for special offers or invitations.

We are sorry to hear that you are experiencing technical difficulties using our claims service. Kindly check that you are using the latest version of web browser (Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Safari, Firefox etc). If you continue to have issues after updating your browser, please contact Nespresso on 1800 623 033 or via the ‘Contact Us’ page on the Nespresso website.

If you are trying to select the ‘Continue’ button and the site is not progressing to the next page, this means there could either be mandatory information missing from your submission on that current page or a field has not been completed correctly. To check, scroll up and the fields will be highlighted for you to complete prior to selecting ‘Continue’.

Please complete your claim up until the Confirmation page. From there, you will be able to go back and edit pages that have already been completed.

Your Coffee Credit will be provided to you within 10 business days after your claim has been approved by Nespresso. You will receive a confirmation email once this is available to you, including instructions on how to use your Coffee Credit.

During the claim submission process, updates of the status of your claim will be provided by email, to your email address supplied in your claim submission.

If you did not receive any emails after your submitting your claim, please check your spam folder.

Please ensure you have provided us with the correct email address to receive communications from Nespresso. Please contact Nespresso on 1800 623 033 (24/7) or via the ‘Contact Us’ page on the Nespresso website to enquire about the status of your claim submission.

This means Nespresso have received your claim and will check your claim to ensure you have submitted all the necessary information required to provide you with your Coffee Credit. Setting a password using the link provided in the email will enable you to view the status of your claim. Please note, the link to set up your password will expire after 48 hours. Please contact Nespresso on 1800 623 033 or via the ‘Contact Us’ page on the Nespresso website if you require support.

Go to and type in your email address and click on ‘Forgotten Your Password’. Then, input your email address again into the field and click Continue. You will then receive an email with a link for you to create your password.

Once you have received your approval email, you may redeem your $20 Coffee Credit after 10 business days. This is available via any of the below methods:

A reminder that you must place your coffee order of 50 capsules or more by 11.59pm AEDT on 28th March 2021 and the Coffee Credit may only be used to purchase Nespresso capsules (excludes accessories). Free Standard Delivery also applies on orders placed where Coffee Credit is being redeemed via channels where delivery applies (e.g. if ordering online, Nespresso mobile apps, Boutique Distant Orders).

The claim process for the coffee credit must be completed no later than 11:59pm AEDT 28th February 2021. Claims received after this time and date will not be accepted.

Once you receive your validation email, there will be a link provided to set-up your Nespresso website log in. Click on the link and follow the instructions on the website to set up your Nespresso website log in. (must be actioned within 72 hours of receiving your email). You can then login to the Nespresso website or mobile app, place your coffee order and enter your promotional code at the check out to redeem the offer.

We are unable to transfer Coffee Credit to another Nespresso membership.
